This is NOT a recommendation, we ordered food this evening to eat whilst watching a film with friends. We were told that our food would be delivered within the hour, with less than 5 minutes left on the clock, it arrived, cold.
I called the restaurant to let them know of my disappointment and to give them the opportunity to rectify the problem, however, to add insult to injury, the person who answered had a rude telephone manner and refused to accept that my order wasn't anything other than top quality.
I will never order from this restaurant again and I will also never recommend this establishment to my friends or family.

i would definitely eat at this restaurant, it is well worth the money even with the 50 % off, i am going there for a meal tonight again with my nan and auntie to show them what the fantastic experience it is in there, the food is superb
The Plymouth Curry Club
Absolutely shocking. The meals were very poor and clearly cooked in a hurry despite taking the best part of 45 minutes to arrive. The staff argued with me over what I ordered and I received an incorrect bill at the end of it.

This is the best Indian restaurant to go to if you are watching the cost, however the standard for food does not change. The food is as good as Baba's (the restaurant opposite which is far more expensive) however the only problem is the decor is a bit dated. Do not be put off though as the food is gorgeous. Chicken Moglai is my fav. We've been many times to this restaurant and not once had a bad meal there. Usually 2 of us can eat there for about £12 as it is 50% off all food, even starters and desert (although to be honest I? usually too full for desert!) We've even had big groups of us go (about 30 people) and there is so much space this is not a problem. They also do takeaway but you don? get the 50% off then (however we were given free pints whilst we waited! Don? think this is standard though). Totally recommend Ganges if you want good Indian food at non-silly prices.

All the food on the menu currently has 50% off!!
I don't know how long this offer lasts, but we had a lamb rezala (beautiful curry with oriantal spices, goes well with sweet naan bread e.g. peshwari), a house special curry, egg fried rice, special fried rice, tarka dahl, sag aloo, peshwari naan, onion bahji's, somosa's and kebabs as starters, and two drinks each all for.... £29!!!!!
The staff were very helpful when choosing the right sides for our dishes, and very friendly and polite. It may look a bit dated on the outside, but inside it is really nice, with lots of cosy nooks, dim lighting, lovely murals on walls and indian music.
Must try!!!
