I used to eat regularly at the Georges and was always impressed, unfortunatly epathy has obviously set in at the restaurant and my last visit there will remain my last! The fish pie was obviously microwaved and done so for far too long, it was mainly potatoes and a few prawns in a tasteless sauce, very disappointing. I was with 9 other friends and although we had a good time we all agreed that the food was very much below the usual standard, also the service was poor and we were not checked on once after the meals were unceremoniously delivered. There are very few good places to eat in Haverfordwest and it is a shame that the Georges has given up in trying to raise the bar

This is a gem of a place, a cross between a bar, a restaurant and a mini arts & crafts shopping centre. A bit like Afleck's Palace in Manchester, and completely unexpected in Haverford West. Feels like it should be at Glastonbury. The food is EXCELLENT if you like real "made on the premises" dishes, with a fair amount of variety and flair. For lunch I had a smoked duck salad and a tiramisu, and was spoilt for choice. Wished I'd been able to return but was on a flying (working) visit. If I'm ever in the region again I'd make a bee-line there!
