My husband drove us over from Manchester for a meal for my parents anniversary. We left my parents having a drink and had a walk around to find a restaurant. We saw the menu outside and it had a good selection of food on it so we went in a booked a table. We found my parents and went back.
The building is very quaint and looks like it is hundreds of years old. It is deceiving when you're outside how big it is inside as the upstairs floor is really big.
We were given some lovely fresh bread and butter when we sat down and we then ordered. We all chose different dishes and they were all lovely (I tried a bit of each). My mum did send her soup back to be warmed up as it wasn't hot enough but apart from that everything was great.
The inside of the restaurant is quite dark and it could do with better lighting.
We would eat there again. The prices were reasonable for the food we had.
