Called in late on a Wednesday night, the hotel only serves food until 8:30pm & we arrived about 8:20pm. Premier league football was on TV & the place was very busy but We still managed to find somewhere to sit out of the way of the main part of the pub.
The menu was typical pub grub. I ordered Lasagna & my partner ordered Scampi & I don't think either of us expected the quality of food that we got. The lasagne was the best that I have had for a long time & my partner seemed very impressed with the quantity & quality of the scampi.
The staff were friendly & the service was quick. Would recommend this to anyone who wants a good quality quick bite to eat in the evening
