Landlord Martin Cook has been at the helm of the Glyn Y Weddw Arms in Llanbedrog, Pwllheli, for more than fifteeen years now and in that time has turned it into one of the most popular pubs in the area. It's also one of the few pubs that's open seven days a week with food served at lunch and dinner daily. On Thursday evenings (spring and summer only) and all-day Sunday they offer a special carvery too. The menu offers plenty of choice including 'Glynny' signature dishes - sirloin steak, rump steak, salmon fillet and slow-roasted pork loin steaks. There's a special children's menu and one for smaller appetites which is a nice touch plus a takeaway pizza menu. Inside, the Glyn Y Weddw has a welcoming 'olde worlde' feel whilst outside there's seating for 130 people, a terrace with a retractable heated canopy and an adventure playground to keep the kids entertained. The pub has a regular schedule of events and a function room available for hire that can seat up to 70 people.
