Just like to say a big thanks to the Golden Ball for making my recent Anniversary a swinging experience. Me and Mrs P set off in our classique car, windows down, Status Quo on the 8 track...after a brief but oh so exhilerating drive down the old Whiston bypass, we happened upon the GB. The meal, well where do I start...
Mrs P opted for the steak with Blue cheese sauce, foregoing the pint of laugh and titter for a nice glass of Pinot Grigio(well chilled of course. I went for the same steak, well done, but with the pepper sauce and the aforementioned pint of L&T.
We were well impressed, foregoing the pudding course, we decided, saving a few coppers, that we would mosey on down chez Bruns and partake of the Coffee and Wafer thin mint in the relative luxury of our very own salon de the. My missus is ever so fond of her Golden Ball experience and she has asked me to take her up the oxo tower in the very near future.
