Have just been for our works Christmas meal and never have i ever had such an awful meal! After waiting 30 minutes to be seated at our booked table, we waited another 20 minutes to place a drinks order. 45 minutes after being seated, our pre-ordered meals came out in dribs and drabs. To be fair, our meals were ok, bit salty but edible. After finishing our meals, our drinks arrived and the bill was delivered, with an extra £80 more than what was quoted when booking. After speaking with a very rude manager, we paid for drinks, meals and extra each (all quoted prices by the manager) we still ended up apparently owing another £16 which could not be explained by the manager, but as he would not back down, it was all paid. Out of pocket and utterly disgusted, i think we can all happily say we will definitely NOT be dining there again.

We go every year to celebrate our anniversary. In all the 10 years we have been going both my husband and I have never been disappointed by the food or service. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

It is a lovely restaurant but I have been 5 or so times and I always feel the service is poor. When they brought out the wrong main meal instead of "sorry sir we shall correct it but it may be 10 minutes" we were told "no that is what you ordered" and they refused to bring the correct dish. We only now eat here when we cannot get in at the Fortune Star.

In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in the local area. The food is exceptional - I have been many times and have ordered many different dishes and have fully enjoyed every single one of them. The service is fantastic - quick, friendly and courteous. The prices are slightly on the high side but it is worth every penny and they offer a 20% discount if you are collecting a takeaway. Simply the best!

I had heard many great things about this restaurant from friends and family but had never actually been until now and all I can say is why didn't I come sooner! I must say that the food here is first class, my wife and I shared the mixed starter for two, and the salt & peppered spare ribs were the best I had ever tasted. For my main course I had the fillet steak chinese style which came out on a sizzling platter and my wife had the sizzling king prawns in wine sauce, both with fried rice. The steak was perfect, very tender and the prawns had been cooked to perfection.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would say this restaurant ranks as one of the best if not the best Chinese Restaurant I have ever been to and I will definitely be going again!

Great exotic ambience, friendly service, but most importantly, every time the food is at the very least good and often excellent. In fact, the mixed starter for two is superb. For me, easily the best Chinese restaurant in town.
