We visited the golden phoenix we go on on birthdays it was tea time visit we all had banquet, soup came it was warm normally its roasting hot the main meal had a lot off salt we wasn't impressed at all I'm thinking someone else must have took over. I'm not one for telling people straight i just wont be going again, sorry golden phoenix 28/02/2010

Would not recommend to my worst enemy, had the 4 course special, soup cold and slimy, chicken full of saline, curry sauce watery complained to no avail

We have been dining at the Golden Phoenix frequently since the new owners, Tom and Jan took over. They have made every effort to create a friendly dining atmosphere and develop customer relations. There is a wide variety of choice on the menu and there have even been some Vietnamese dishes introduced, which are delicious! The food is always well presented with over-generous portions, very reasonably priced and is by far the best Chinese restaurant we have been to for some time.

This has to be one of the nicest chinese restaurants I have frequented! The food is excellent and plentiful and the atmos is very good. Customers are made to feel very welcome and it is reasonably priced. They also do a takeaway service at a reduced rate. Value for money.

This is one of the nicest Chinese by far I eat a lot at Chinese restaurants and have never found one nicer than this.Å Definitely recommend you pay it a visit if ya into Chinese food!!

The food in here was absolutely delicious, one of the nicest meals I have had in ages, in fact I am going tonight, as there is a special offer between 5-7.
