went to GBK last night and sat outside in the sun. Awesome burger as ever - had the greek lamb with hummus. Nice fat chips. Good beers to wash it down with. They've done away with the annoying order at the counter idea so that's another bonus.

The burgers are gorgeous but on the pricey side at £7+ for most burgers. I've only ever had the blue cheese burger when I've been to GBK and it's delicious. My husband had the pestarella which was okay but not as good as the blue cheese.
I guess my only real gripe about the place is that the fries are £2.65. For a small portion of obviously frozen, pre-processed chips that you could get in any fast food place it's extortionate and lets the meal down. They'd be better off doing real chips or potato wedges.
For 2 burgers, 2 portions of fries and 2 cokes the bill came to £26 which isn't particularly good value in relation to the quality of what's on offer.

The food here is great. The burgers are probably the best I've ever tasted. The beef is delicious, soft, and just perfectly done. There is a choice of about 25 different burgers. The majority of these have Aberdeen Angus Scotch beef as their main ingredient, but there's also a choice of several chicken, lamb, venison, chorizo and vegetarian options.
Drinks-wise, there's a selection of bottled beers (including a couple of interesting New Zealand ones), soft drinks, milkshakes (which are just amazing!), soft drinks. Didn't see the wine list, but there is one available to look at on request.
The welcome is friendly, and the ambience decent enough (very good for a burger restaurant!). We were shown to our table and informed it's a 'order and pay at the counter' set up. Slightly irritating, but fair enough. Food arrived quickly, and was just lovely.
