Awful food. Consistently. Beer is OK and is OK for general drinking but I've been on many an occasion and the food is terrible.
The last time I went, the chicken seemed to have been through several cycles of re-heating and when I said so when the waitress came at the end was told that I should have said something during the meal. Nothing further was offered. Hang on, aren't I the customer? I didn't want to disturb the other two I was seated with and put them off their food (Afterwards they said that theirs was terrible too!)
Gladly I live between Pudsey and Tong and closest to me are the Bankhouse and The Fleece, both excellent for drinking and the Bankhouse has good food too.
Incidentally, I've never posted a comment like this but the food was sooooo terrible and the staff unconcerned that it really should have been a clip round the ear for chef, I felt I had to. If they gave up doing food it'd probably get a slightly higher rating.

Went to the Greyhound Inn Bank holiday Monday (25 August). We hadn't booked but managed to get the last table. Service was very quick and the waitress was very friendly and helpful. The steak and ale pie was fantastic as was the pork roast. The portion sizes were quite big but it was so nice I had to try and clear my plate. All in all fantastic food and fantastic service.

I have eaten here many times over the years and have never been disappointed with a meal. The steak pie is very good, but then so is everything else. Lovely pub food with a good atmosphere. Plenty of tables outside for when the sun shines. Well worth a visit - you wont be disappointed.

Been to the Greyhound on many occasions. I personally think the food menu during the week offers more choice as opposed to the set Sunday menu.
The Glazed Gammon Joints are not to be missed. If you are wanting a belly buster of a mixed grill, I challenge you to finish it (I only just managed.
Best to book in advance as this pub is very popular and has limited tables. A good choice of real ales (for all you camra enthusiasts) and the pub has its own cricket ground alongside the car park, ideal for those lazy summer afternoons.
Very pleasant atmosphere, staff and good value for money.
