Guy's Eating Establishment enjoys a lovely canalside location south of Garstang at Bilsborrow. It's part of Guy's Thatched Hamlet, a leisure complex that's been owned and run by the Wilkinson family for 40 years and incorporates Owd Nell's Tavern, a cricket ground, crown green bowling, ice cream parlour and accommodation in 65 ensuite rooms, some of which include double spa baths and wet room-style showers. The Italian-themed restaurant features multi-level dining areas, including an al fresco roof patio, and an open pizzeria where pizzas are cooked in front of diners. As well as pizza and pasta choices, the menu features Aberdeen Angus steaks on the bone, fish and seafood dishes and a daily specials board. Kids are welcome and there are some good-value offers on food. The wine list offers a selection of some 40 wines from around the world. Open for lunch and dinner every day and watch out for the series of festivals and events that run throughout the year.

Visited Guys last night for a birthday meal we sat on the terrace outside, it was fabulous absolutely outstanding the food, the presentation, service and staff were amazing! We had the big seafood platters to share and I ate the halibut and prawns for my main. Would 100% recommend!

I've dined at Guys many times, its a great place but i wanted to take the time to write this review as we were so impressed when we returned for our first meal out for what seems like ages. The place looks great, it is immaculate and the staff, as always, were so welcoming. We all, five of us, loved our meal, i had stilton aigrettes and lasagne because i've missed it for the last four months, the family had swordfish, steak and pizza, we even had a few cheeky desserts, everything was excellent, in fact the swordfish was declared the best meal EVER, quite an accolade! Great friendly atmosphere, excellent food. Guys you've smashed it, we will be back very soon. Thank you

Girls night out on Guys roof terrace. When the sun is Shinning this is defiantly The place to be. Cocktails, great lunchtime menu for 12.50 for two courses. Less tables in the restaurant makes this a really comfortable safe experience.

We returned to Guys Thatched Hamlet on Monday this week after what seemed a lifetime in dining out. And wow, not only was the food as fabulous as normal especially the fegatini, rib eye and chicken a la creme but the whole restaurant looks amazing and the service was excellent. It had just the same if not more atmosphere than before. We will be returning very soon.

Fantastic food and brilliant atmosphere! Very professional attitude towards covid-19 precautions which made us feel safe and comfortable. We were served by a lovely waiter called Cameron who was very attentive and looked after us all night. Couldn’t fault it, 10/10 we will be back!
