Tom Kerridge's iconic gastropub with two Michelin stars.
About Hand and Flowers
The Hand and Flowers is a multi award-winning pub with smart and quirky accommodation. Located in Marlow town centre it has caught the imagination of local foodies. It is home to Tom and Beth Kerridge who started here in 2005. Atmospheric and buzzy, relaxed yet professional, you can spend a little or a lot here, eat from the bar menu or have a gastronomic journey with the evening a la carte. They have achieved two Michelin stars and four AA Rosettes, yet the experience is down to earth and humble. The four letting rooms are jaw dropping, named after rare breeds of beef! Two of the rooms feature outside decked patios with jacuzzis and all the rooms are luxuriously decorated with a theme of all things Bovine.
We went for lunch here recently, the place was very busy and had a cracking atmosphere. We were amazed that even though they have a Michelin Star they offered a two course lunch for £10!
My wife had a roasted tomato and basil soup which she said was delicious, home made breads, followed by a kind of de-constructed lasagne which she hasn't stopped talking about. I opted for two homemade fishcakes with capers and a very nice sauce and some of the best chips I have ever had, cooked in a way I haven't encountered before. We shared a lemon posset for dessert. Stunning!
