Yorkie must have visited a different Hardwick Inn from the one where I ate.The pate,though tasty was thrown into a bowl on top of a wet and tasteless salad. The Carvery was disgusting - overcooked and almost cold.Expensive,poor quality food.You had to pay for three courses whether you wanted them or not.Someone's having a laugh here - this restaurant should be a show case for The National Trust who own the building.

Having eaten at the Harwick Inn on many occasions the food is always very good and the staff very obliging. I would highly recommend this at a restaurant
