I was looking for a place to stay near our companyâ€™s Bristol depot last Wednesday night and came across Berwick Lodge on Sugarvine. Certainly far more â€˜country house hotelâ€™ than I would usually stay at a on a business trip but so much the better. I stayed in a room up in the eaves which was lovely even though I did have to remember to duck! Ate off the bar menu as the restaurant was busy with a large group but the food was very good. Recommended.

We recently enjoyed our second dinner and stay here and again the whole experience was flawless. The way the staff make you feel special and the atmosphere of the place is evocative of a house party. Food wise the attention to detail and techniques at play are awesome and the wine list a joy.
