Enjoyed my scampi, chips and salad at the High Cross. Friendly service and the beer was good too. Next time I will hog the roaring fire!

The wife and I enjoyed a nice night time walk through the village and up the hill to the High Cross. It is in a great location with commanding views over the Duddon Valley and estuary. We were treated to a very warm welcome from the landlady. Had a fine local real ale by the huge roaring fire. Will be back to eat soon.

Again as previous reviews great food with spectacular views. This pub in the summer will be hard to beat, i can't wait for a bit of alfresco dining!

The restaurant at the High Cross Inn is stunning it had the most superb views over the duddon valley and surrounding mountains.
The menu offered a large range of meals to suit any taste with a special board with seasonal produce.
The food was superb! We all had various items from the menu the service was fast with very pleasant waiting on staff.
The bar is very traditional with a large open fire and they are pet friendly. In fact everything about the High Cross is warm and welcoming we look forward to our return.
