We have just returned from two weeks on St Agnes and we came to your restaurant to celebrate my mothers 70th birthday. We were all delighted by the quality of the food, the great service and wonderful location. I can thoroughly recommend pre-ordering a lobster as it totally exceeded my expectations. This restaurant is a must for anyone visiting the Scillies.

Having eaten at your restaurant on Friday evening (and then subsequently returned home to London at the weekend), I felt moved to write to tell you how much my family and I enjoyed our dinner with you last week. As I said in your comments book, I regularly lunch my clients and business acquaintances at some of the finest restaurants in London, including my favourites Petrus, Mirabelle, J Sheekey etc, but I must say that none of these compare to the simplicity and yet brilliance of the meals you served on Friday. The starter of seared scallops with black pudding was exceptional, the main of cod and pureed mint pea even better, and the ginger cheese cake was without doubt the finest desert I have ever tasted. To top it all, the service was just right and the location simply could not be bettered. Hats off to you. I sincerely hope that your restaurant proves a great success. Sorry we didn't get the chance to meet - you looked far too busy. But I shall be back...with a large group of friends and colleagues.

The food, the service, the atmosphere, the surroundings - everything was perfect and I can't wait to go back for more. If you're going to the Scilly's, make the effort to visit St Agnes and go to Hightide. You won't regret it.
