Great traditional Lakeland pub - one of the best examples in the Lakes. Great food, a good range of beers (if you like Jennings) and a great location with a nice beer garden.
Of course, they celebrate this fact by hiking the prices up accordingly.

Delightful traditional country pub. Delicious food and lovely staff. Comfortable rooms with great views of the fells. Very much a favourite of ours.
