The Horse and Groom in Gosforth Cumbria is a pub to avoid!
Very rude and sarcastic bar manager.
We understood that it was under new management but we didn’t expect to be greeted by a ‘Basil Fawlty’ !
We were there for Sunday lunch yesterday and spent £85 for four of us.
The bar manager was sarcastic when we walked in and on leaving was very rude to my daughter and granddaughter.
I was in the loo at the time and missed the leaving comment but I know for sure that we will NEVER return to the Horse and Groom in Gosforth.
Basil Fawlty! you are an idiot.
