we visited her in may on a work afternoon out. only 6 of us at 3pm and we struggled to even order - never mind get extra drinks etc. it wasnt busy as it was a weekday but the waiting staff were AWFUL. we waited over 25 minutes just to get our order taken.I will go again but next time i will complain at shoddy service if i get it!

We went there a few weeks ago for lunch and I was really impressed. Love Asian food and was best I have had in ages. The vietnamese coffee was to die for and even had a dessert which i never do in Asian restaurants. Highly recommended and we are booked back in for dinner next week!

This place has some very interesting menu choices. It just really trendy and laid back without being overstated

This place is a contemporary fusion of Far East and South East Asian food. The menu has a bit of imagination and is a welcome change from the predictable offerings elsewhere. There is a lively atmosphere with well intended staff. Speciality diets are genuinely attempted to be accommodated.

Just returned from a meal at Host and sadly disappointed. Having spoken in detail to our attentive waiter and discussing my hate of spice and chillies, I felt assured that my meal (chicken thai green curry with aubergine) would be freshly cooked to order and have no chillies in it. When my meal arrived it was EXTRA spicy!!! our lovely waiter came to see how we were getting on and was very helpful in returning my meal to the chef. Having overheard the chef tell our waiter that the curry was the hottest on the menu I was confused??? Had i mis heard that i could order a dish that would be mild tasty and cooked fresh?? or i had there been a lack in training with the new staff??? I was left feeling a little embarrassed. When the meal was sent back to me, the dish had not been remade fresh but had extra coconut milk. Sad to say i will not be visiting Host again and will be returning to the delicious and freshly cooked TOKYOU (berry street next to richer sounds).
