About Isla Gladstone Conservatory
The beautifully restored Isla Gladstone Conservatory is a real hidden gem at the heart of Liverpool’s Stanley Park. The Victorian glasshouse sits bathed in natural light and is situated in the midst of landscaped rose gardens. It’s a popular venue for weddings and all kinds of events including christenings, funerals, graduations, gala dinners and corporate functions with a dedicated events team on hand to handle the logistics. The Conservatory can accommodate up to 500 for a cocktail party, 250 for a banquet or 35 for private dining. At ground level, below the glasshouse, Kemp’s Bistro is open to the public seven days a week from 9.30am until 4pm for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea and also does a good-value Sunday roast. There’s plenty of choice on the menu ranging from sandwiches, jackets, soups and burgers to main course dishes like Chilli Beef Stir Fry, Traditional Scouse and Crispy Duck Salad. Or you can just drop in for a coffee.
