Good grub, nice looking restaurant in Leafy Lytham. Whats not to like!

Turkish cuisine is the only cuisine thatâ€™s better as a takeaway than a sit down meal. Having visited this place when it was The Hastings I was expecting big things. But the food was average to say the least and what was a great venue is looking a bit tired. If I was you, Iâ€™d save yourself some money and stick to a kebab from Ahmetâ€™s round the corner.

Had a meal with a small group of us, 6 I think, over the christmas period. Loved the fresh bread we had first off. I had a chicken livers starter which was excellent. The others mostly had a mezze starter which they enjoyed. The mixed grill main was good too and everyone said they would return, this being everyone's first visit it was a successful one.

We had an excellent meal at our Xmas party last night. I really enjoyed my Meze and Istanbul Chicken, which seemed like a Turkish take on Stroganoff. WIne and service were good too. Would return with my wife.

We've been four or five times now and every time has been excellent. Friendly staff and fresh, yummy food. The mezze are superb - my particular favourites are the flavoursome sucuk sausage and cacik dip with Turkish bread.
