Food was good; price was good. Staff just plain unfriendly and actually quite unhelpful in ways.

My family, friends and I regularly eat at the Italian Cottage. The menu caters for everyone's tastes at reasonable prices. They do a special 3 course meal deal on Thursday and Sundays as well as a pizza/pasta deal on Wednesdays.
The service and friendliness of the staff are what makes it such a good place to eat. They always try and accommodate any requests you may have and nothing is too much trouble. My advice would be to book in advance as it is a very popular restaurant..

Had a fabulous meal at the Italian Cottage. The menu is authentic and extensive with great fish specials. Wonderful, cosy and stylish with very friendly and helpful staff. !!

So amazing! 1st visit and best meal out we (family) had in a long time! Fantastic meet and greet, superb atmosphere, waiters really friendly, superb service, excellent food (still drooling) what more can i say Never knew Chorley had a hidden gem! Will def be visiting again.

I have been to the Italian Cottage a number of time recently both alone and with friends and have never been disappointed. The delightful ambience, the service is excellent, attentive without being overpowering and ,of course, the food both Italian and English menus are all top of the range; can't fault it in any way.Even in today's difficult economic circumstances they are always busy; surely testament to its quality. It is advisable to book.Jonjo.
