Went there first time with friends today after reading good reviews, spent well over 100 pounds but the service was rude and food was horrible, would never go there again. food was tasteless and bland, some of the food was expensive but the quantity was minute. it looks they just mixed all the spices and presented it without cooking as the food was cold and tasteless what more can I say money wasted, stay away if you can.

Went for the first time after being recommended and I have never felt so welcomed in a Birmingham restaurant before. Its not over the top its just right you are made to feel like a VIP - they have perfected the art of good service and get the rewards by having a full restaurant early on a rainy Wednesday evening. Free deserts and coffees and sweets for kids I left feeling was that for real. Oh and the food is excellent..

Jilabi is literally the best Indian restaurant in west midlands. It was my first time their and staff were all A1 presented and were lovely. Food was so good its indescribable, and the best thing about it is how cheap and cheerful the restaurant is. We had a meal for four with wine and drinks and bill came up to only £35.00 and it could of been cheaper if we went for the £7.95 deal which they have got. #£7.95 for any starters, main dishes, rice and naan.
The best thing about that evening was when we got free deserts and coffees as a thank you for coming. i fully recommend it to anybody that loves indian food. Best too book aswell as they are really busy due to the standards of food, soon to be a michelin star restaurant i say.

My partner and I have been to the Jilabi many times and have always enjoyed an excellent meal, reasonably priced in a comfortable restaurant with very attentive staff. It is for this reason that they are holding our wedding breakfast this Saturday.
