Great food, lovely atmosphere. This is the most surprising restaurant, when you arrive outside it looks so small and not at all as you'd expect. When you enter it is lovely. There's a small reception area and bar where you can have a drink while considering the menu of some of the best food I have eaten. The dining area is through into another area and is far bigger than you would imagine, but it is still intimate and really private. A great place to eat and a nice surprise once you are inside... I have been quite a few times over the years and have never had any problems with either the food, wine or service.

A lovely meal, a set 3 course for about £15 all freshly cooked, the steak was to die for.
not a roast dinner/carvery in sight, thank goodness.
Try the salmon in a lime sauce, beautiful.
