Kassap means ‘butcher’ in Turkish and this new venue on Bold Street has quickly established itself as one of Liverpool’s top addresses for the discerning carnivore. It’s modelled on the hugely successful Nusr-et, the renowned high-end Turkish steakhouse which has restaurants across Turkey as well as the UAE, Miami and New York. At the core of the Kassap experience is the quality of the cuts of meat, sourced from a top Scottish supplier. All steaks are dried for at least 28 days for maximum tenderness and flavour and you can watch head chef and partner Bayram Yuce at work in the open kitchen. The menu offers a wide range of steaks, grills and burgers as well as fish, chicken and vegetarian choices. House specialities include the Tomahawk steak, Fillet mignon and the Slow-cooked grilled beef ribs. The Bold Street venue is a suitable characterful venue to showcase the top-quality food with bench, booth and table seating, wooden floors and the original art deco features.
