My curry was excellent. Unlike many Indian restaurants the chicken was fresh breast not frozen chewy chunks floating in ‘gravy’. It looked and tasted spot on. Generous portions. Service was friendly and knowledgable. The place looked spic and span too. Highly recommended

We have been serving amazing Indian food for generations!

This is a recommendation NOT to go here.
2 staff were quite rude to me. The Mango and yogurt sauce was not to a high standard. The tikka masala was bland with no depth of flavour and when I was asked if it was ok, my feedback was honest, to which the waiter pulled his face. The reason I'm writing this is because I've woken up with tummy ache this morning which is never a sign of good food! Please Don't read other recommendations on the web; it's certainly no Blue Tiffin (Oldham) or zouk ( mnc).

The food is fantastic and there is a great value for money menu available too. It's relatively modern and always pretty full. It even has a car park which in Didsbury is pretty rare. However, the service is quite possibly the worst I have ever received. Drinks were slammed down, starter plates weren't cleared until the end of the meal, noone checked that the meal was ok or offered the chance to reorder drinks. The table was wiped down onto my lap and both of the waiters that 'served' us were unbelievably rude. I would never return here but would try the takeaway next door as the kitchen is shared.

Quite simply the best Indian restaurant in the Northwest.

Disappointing for those of us interested in world cuisine - asking the waiters or even Mr Khandoker himself gained us no further detail! We felt crammed into the restaurant (too many tables)& had the feeling that the waiting staff were doing their best & were probably being paid a pittance for their efforts. When the bill came we noticed that there was an extra addition of naan breads which we had not received, despite reminders, & when questioned, Mr Khandoker, with absolute glee, informed us that we had, nevertheless been undercharged by £10 ^ added this onto our bill! There was a nasty after-taste to our experience - one of cattle / herding us in & out / squashing us in etc all for money-grabbing reasons. Mediocre food, impersonal service & very nasty owner! Curry for the masses. Will never go back!

I live dangerously close to this place. Dangerous because I could eat here every night! It really is better than anywhere I've tried in Rusholme, and trust me, I've tried most. And if you dont want a "Sit Down Dokers" there's a Takeaway next door that is equally incredible!
The only downside is that I dont think they do deliveries!

The best in Manchester. Try the specials. Much better than the greasy stuff in Rusholme- and easy to park too.
