Hard to believe that this restaurant has been fantastic for at least 20. years I have been going there for 20 years and my daughter who is now 25 has been going with us since she was 5. There are other Chinese restaurants in liverpool that are good however for my extended family and friends this is the very best there is.

I was a regular customer up until December 2005 when my husband and I booked a table on New Year's Eve for 9pm but weren't served our main meals until 11.30pm! The service was appalling and this was echoed by other customers in the restaurant who ended up leaving. We arranged to meet some friends just before midnight and so didn't have enough time to eat the meals and ended up taking them away and missing dessert. It was obvious that through sheer greed, too many customers had been booked in but not enough staff had been rostered for duty. We have dined in other restaurants on New Year's Eve and have received much more efficient service.
There's no doubting that the food is excellent but I hope they have improved their customer service.

This is my all time favourite restaurant and I have been dining here for many years. The food is fantastic and the staff are really friendly - I would recommend this to anyone.

This was tastetastic, we had a fab old night me and the guys from the chess club. Never tasted anything so delicious since visiting China back in the 90's. The service was super duper indeed, very friendly and clean. However, I did find it a bit pricy especially for the prawn toast which is cheaper 5 minutes down the road.
