The King William, which is situated between Turton and Bromley Cross near Bolton, is set on the edge of the Pennines overlooking Jumbles reservoir and really makes the most of its countryside location. The outside terrace can seat more than 50 diners and really comes into its own during the summer months. Inside, there's a modern and contemporary feel but it still retains traditional pub elements with lots of dark woods, browns and creams and a variety of dining areas, some of which can be used for private dining. The King William is known for its superior pub food and is run by chef-patron Vicky in partnership with Heather who runs the front-of-house operation. They have put together an exciting menu with popular choices including starters like the Salt & Pepper King Prawns and mains such as the Honey Chilli Chicken or the Spanish Bean Stew. There’s a choice of steaks, grills and sharing platters too and regularly changing specials including a Burger of the Week. Kids have their own menu and there’s a popular Sunday Roast too. Live entertainment on the last Saturday of the month.
