Stopped off for lunch after reading the reviews here, sat in the rear garden with sea views. A couple of glasses of lovely rose and a salad of artichoke and sweet peppers and my partner had a huge salmon & crab fishcake-both were delicious. Didn? want to be rude so we ordered what was the best chocolate fondant I have ever had-much better than Mr Ramsays. The summer berry jelly was also delicious. Job done we moved on.

My wife and I run a country B&B near Dartmouth. We regularly visit and monitor local restaurants, so that our guests are properly informed. Of the many guests staying here who have recently dined at the award winning New Angel in Dartmouth, those who have also dined at the Kings Arms have all confirmed that there is absolutely nothing to choose between the top quality of both restaurants, although the Kings Arms is considerably less expensive.
Kings Arms Inn
I would like to recommend:
The Kings Arms, Currently serving some of the most imaginative seafood dishes in South
Devon. Supplies are local, but ideas are gleaned from the world larder.
Seriously good cooking in the confines of a jolly, family-run village pub.
The wine list isn't bad, either!
