They have recently opened a branch of La Salsa in Adlington, but trying to find any contact numbers or details about it are like trying to find a needle in a haystack!!!! Its been open well over 2 months now and yet there are no details on either 118.com or Yell.com and when I have repeatedly tried the number of the Horwich branch it either never gets answered or i'm told there is no one available to take the call and they do not have the facility to leave a message. All i can say is that it is poor marketing if no body can even find the place let alone book a table due to the lack of contact details!!! It has come recommended to me but i'm afraid the inability to even find the place is making it a bad choice from the start. Poor Service.....

I went to La Salsa Horwich last night (10/09/2011) with some friends (4 dining all together) we had a table booked for 20:30hrs and arrived about 5 minutes before we were seated right away I must say that the table was squashed into a corner giving us very little room to sit, now I’m not the smallest of people and with the people on the other table sitting so close it was uncomfortable, (luckily the other table left after about 30 minutes, so we could spread out more).
As usual they wanted to take our drinks order as soon as we sat down (something which seems to be happening more and more in restaurants these days) I put them off for 5 minutes but they were back in about 3 minutes. We ordered our drinks only to be informed when the beer arrived that the wine we wanted was unavailable (something I really think the waiting staff should have known).
My biggest grip with this restaurant is that it is very dark and you do find yourself reading the menu by candlelight also the background music did not appear to changed during the time we were in there (we didn't leave until after 12pm, it was Julio Iglesias and as much as I like him you do get fed up after the 3rd run though of his greatest hits).
The food as normal was very good and fresh but I ordered the chorizo in red wine three times and it was not until the third time when I had to ask the waiter for it did it arrive, we normally order about 4 dishes each but I not all arrive (we ordered 3 portions of No 35, the fish in batter at the first order but only 2 arrived) I would normally complain but to be honest there was enough to eat and you just order again next time.
We had more than enough food and plenty of beer and wine and the bill came to £106 for the 4 of us which was very good. It was also helped by being with very good friends so a good night was had by all. It’s definitely a place I will be returning too.

I wouldn't bother with this tapas bar. You may think you are getting value for money but the service was awful. We waited 40 minutes to get the attention of the waiter who was lounging on the bar to re-order. The food was awful. Brown lettuce and tasted just like it was a poor microwaved dish. I felt ill in the night and my friend had the runs. Really, you may think you are getting value but it is a waste of money.

A further welcome addition to the Horwich restaurant scene. In the premises of former restaurants, Inca & Puddleduk, La Salsa has a good atmosphere and a good range of tapas options. The current menu operates on an "as much as you can eat" basis with various prices depending on the time and day. Friendly service, good food, reasonably priced. Worth a try.

Ok, granted this is a tapas restaurant that offer a fairly reasonable menu, however the quality and variety of the dishes left a lot to be desired last Saturday afternoon.
The same sauce seemed to run through most of the chicken dishes, most of the dishes were bland and unimaginative though the whitefish and calimari were not bad. We could taste the cooking fat in the potato dishes and well, do not get me started on the cleanliness.
Our table was so sticky that my partners book actually stuck to it when put down, as did our napkins, glasses and bowls.
Definitely a place we will not be in a hurry to return to.

Six months ago my son and I visited La Salsa for lunch. Not being an adventurous eater this was my first taste of Tapas. I was very impressed and tapas has become my favourite eat-out meal. I would give the restaurant, the staff and the food a hearty ten out of ten and eat there a couple of times a week.

Visited La Salsa for the 2nd time and I can certainly say they do not disappoint. All you can eat for £11.95 and boy did I eat, there's so much choice, everything I had was absolutely beautiful and fresh too. Loads of meat and fish dishes as well as plenty of choice for vegetarians.
Enough food to sink a ship( I was fit for bursting), two large wines and two beers for £38.00- absolute bargain, so much so that we're off again next Friday.
Not to be missed.
Service was top notch
