Went to La Tasca and being Tapas virgins opted for the set meat selection. All the dishes were fabulous and we will defo be eating here again. Service was very good and the staff friendly and attentive.

We visited La Tasca on Monday night prior to the theatre, on arrival we waited an age to be seated even though the restaurant was not busy. once seated we were pestered by flies! The waiter was a miserable so and so, and just about managed a grunt of a welcome! We ordered a bottle of the house red which tasted like domestos, it was undrinkable and sent back. The tapas was served with another grunt but was very nice. We did intend to have dessert but as the waiter had other things to occupy him self with, we did not have time. when the bill eventually arrived we had been charged for the domestos! When this was pointed out, guess what, more grunting. To top the evening off both of us ended up with Ghandi's revenge. Will we ever visit again? Not in this lifetime!!

La Tasca is a lovely restaurant, the outside area is great to enjoy the sun. The waiter are friendly, attentive and as far as I can tell all from Latin country. The atmosphere inside is great. The food is good value, but nothing like a Spanish tapas. The patatas bravas were extremely disappointing. I wouldn't go back for food, I think there are much better places in Liverpool. But I would go there for a drink.

We hadn't been to Liverpool for a long time and had travelled over from Blackpool to go to the Playhouse theatre. In typical style we parked up, wondered where to eat and stumbled upon La Tasca. Set behind the Marriott in the city centre this little haven of Spain was fantastic. Drinks service was swift and we had time to look at the excellent menu. It was his first time for tapas so we opted for the set meat menu (as opposed to the set fish menu) and had 8 wonderful tapas for £19.95 - absolute bargain. The portion size is very good and the quality of the food excellent. It was a lovely warm evening, sat outside in a bustling city sipping a cool beer and picking at quality tapas....what could be better.

This is the best place to eat in Liverpool. i suffer with allergies gluten, dairy and wheat and the menu tells you what? in there food to save illness later, I have eaten there lots of times but i celebrated my 40th birthday there with friends it was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, the food was delicious and i would recommend it whole heartedly try it you wont regret it! ps there wine list is pretty good too, not just the average bottle of rubbish stowells.

Went to La Tasca on 25/07/2006, got a table straight away as a hot night and everyone was sitting outside, but wasn? to hot inside so was comfortable, and was served straight away with drinks, and was left a short while to chose from the menu, the waitress who served us was a bit stroppy but hey the food definitely made up for it "just delicious" celebrated my 36 birthday with 3 friends and they all said the same most enjoyable evening, lovely food well priced you don? have to break the bank lovely clean restaurant comfortable defo going back SOON

Although the food and location are superb, what spoils it is their policy of not allowing you to book a table in advance so you end up being forced to spend money at their bar whilst waiting for your table. Shame really!
