I went to this restaurant on Saturday night with friends…it was packed out and we had to wait in line to be seated for about 15 minuets but as they were so busy we didn’t mind waiting, when we finally got seen to our table had been taken so we were left hanging around the bar area for a while for them to find us a table and after about 10 minutes a nice apologetic guy found us one down stairs which was quieter and better for us, the waiters and staff were very friendly and efficient and everything was going well until I decided to pay the ladies a visit and I have never been so disgusted in all my life, the sanitary bin in the ladies was actually overflowing with dirty sanitary towels and even stained tissue, I have been to festivals and the toilets have been nicer than and I think it is absolutely not acceptable. I did report this to a member of staff that did seem concerned and apologized and said he would sort it out, it has really put me off visiting La Tasca’s now and seen as we traveled 60 miles round trip to visit this restaurant I am very disappointed!!!!

Went in the summer, Friday night @ 5pm. Good job we booked beforehand, the place was packed to the rafters with several people waiting for a table. Food was very good, but not exceptional, service was very good with friendly and attentive staff(even though they were rushed off their feet). Would definitely go again. People who don't like very busy restaurants would probably be better off avoiding TBH.

La Tasca has grown substantially in popularity, but the food was pretty average. The ribs were a bit too fatty but the waitress took those off our bill.
Patatas bravas at £3-odd was rather on the dear side
La Tasca
La Tasca has the best Spanish food around - the calamares, gambas pil pil and paella mariscos are out of this world. Most seem to come here to relive their Spanish holidays and forget rainy Manchester for a few hours. Good value apart from extortionate beer prices. Excellent atmosphere, but a touch noisy when busy. Book ahead at peak times.
La Tasca
The tapas at La Tasca Deansgate is in a different league from that at some of the other restaurants in this chain. The service is always brisk but friendly. It's always very busy at the usual mealtimes.
La Tasca
Usually very busy so book ahead if you definately want to eat here. Definately worth the effort - great food, good service, great atmosphere.
