About La Turka Bistro
At this Monton restaurant you can anticipate an extensive and authentic menu that includes mezzes, tapas and seafood sharing platters. Dishes are all made from scratch and include traditional dishes such as lamb stuffed vine leaves and aubergine salad or their signature dish, Lord of the Grill, a positive meat fest for two. La Turka sources its produce both locally and direct from Turkey and chef patron Ihsan has 25 years' experience under his belt taking in the Istanbul Hilton and cooking for George Bush. La Turka has recently undergone a full refurbishment. The new interior blends open brickwork, natural materials and striking Turkish bath-style pillars to invoke the ambience of the Mediterranean. La Turka is the only disabled friendly venue on the high street and during the evenings belly dancers can be seen bringing a taste of the exotic to this lively Turkish restaurant in Monton. La Turka now has a new sister restaurant in Rawtenstall.
