This is an amazing restaurant. The customer service was exceptional and the food was lovely! I have been here twice and always eat the chicken dishes which have the nicest sauces! I highly recommend.

Had a lovely meal at this restaurant on Monday night. Shared tapas with a friend and couldn't finish the food, there was so much delivered to the table. Attentive staff, without being intrusive and a calm, friendly atmosphere. Really relaxed during my stay and will definitely be going again. Already told many friends about the place.

I went to La Vina on Saturday night with my date, although we hadn't booked we were put onto the reserve list and actually seated within half hour of arriving, despite being given a initial 45min waiting time. We were given a table at the far end, given the fact we were on a date - i think it was the best place to be, slightly away from the bigger groups of tables.
The waiting on staff were attentive yet distant, not hovering over you but within earshot should we have needed them.
We picked 6 tapas dishes in all; of which i can recommend the chorizo, stuffed mushrooms, patatas bravas and the king prawns in chilli&garlic.
As far as i'm aware the bill was reasonable, although i didn't pay. With that in mind, i shall definitely be returning to sample the paella which i've been told is fabulous. Spot on for ambience, quality of food, price and locality.
i'm hungry just writing the review...!

Very good tapas and the paella is superb - cheeky enough to ask for a doggy bag and they didn't bat an eyelid! The monkfish wrapped with serrano ham and cheese and ham croquettes are really yummy!

Fantastic food. We asked if we could order the set tapas meal normally for a minimum of 8 but there was only 4 of us. The manager was only too pleased to help. The food was beyond expectations and as someone said previously, the house rioja was magnificent. Next time i'm in Liverpool I will definitely book a table here.

nice place. Food was ok, the staff are very polite, but we did wait over half an hour for it and this was on a Monday night(4/02/08). There were only 3 other tables being used. We had chicken on skewers with roasted potatoes which were under done. For what we had the price was ok. go back, no there are better places in the city centre.
