The Lakeland Farm Visitor Centre offers an authentic experience of the modern Lake District farm. It’s situated at Ings village on the main A591 between Staveley and Windermere - right by the speed camera! – and comprises a farm shop, café, butchers and a Farm Arena where you can see daily livestock shows, including their own one-ton bull. The café is open daily from 9.30am to 5pm and features produce from the farm itself as well as other quality local farmers. You can buy produce to go from the farm shop and butchery as well as meet the animals on the farm and learn more about the traditional and modern farming techniques that have helped shape the unique Lakeland landscape.
