i've been to lguanas, and must say the decor and service, is excellent. the food is amazing. I had the flaming bird which was excellent, to those who like good value for money, must try this fine eating in las lguanas. you pay for what you get and I can't fault this excellent eatery.

Had an amazing family meal here today. The food is fantastic. I had a brazilian curry with seafood. This was the best curry I have ever eaten and was full of flavours, very different to the usual bland curries. My wife had the sea bass which was equally as good. The kids food was very good too (and also free of charge). We will go back here very soon,

I went for a working lunch with 10 colleagues and have to say this place was fantastic. The food was of a superb quality, and stater and main course was served within a hour, with a drink (san miguel), all for £9.40. It was just enough to not leave me uncomfortably full, and perfect for a lunchtime bite - highly recommended and the service was second to none, unlike other venues in Liverpool one.

avoid at all costs. i had heard mixed reviews about las iguanas but it was chosen as a leaving do for a work mate leaving the city. what a shame the last memory of a restaurant was this place!
this is chain food at its worst. 4 meals sent back as stone cold, under cooked and pink. very poor quality meat. staff look miserable like they dont want to be there and rushed us as soon as we sat down to order, god no's why, we where the only party there (upstairs). they knocked so much off the bill in the end we all payed just over £10 each, including a few rounds of drinks. it was that bad. avoid avoid avoid. theres so so many nicer places in liverpool and for the amount of competiton that is around the chef needs to be fired!

Came here last week - amazing decor, food was lovely and the pitchers of sangria were to die for! However the service was appalling - we waiting over half an hour for a table despite the restaurant being almost completely empty and when I finally asked whether one was ready, the hostess told me she had forgotten about finding us a place, but didn't apologise. Once seated we were ready to order, but again nobody took our order until I finally went over to the bar after about fifteen minutes of sitting at the table with no food or drinks. We only ordered five tapas dishes which took ages to arrive, which was surprising due to the emptiness of the restaurant. On arrival the food was delicious but nobody offered to refill our drinks and hung around the bar area chatting instead. I enjoyed the meal itself but felt that this restaurant was let down by its staff.

Me and 4 friends attended Las iguanas 01/11/08. We are local and were looking forward to the new restaurants in Liverpool one. However it was a shambles! The food we ordered arrived an hour later, it then came separately and two were cold. The food was not up to standard in comparison to the price you paid. There was an apology of the waiter but no manager to be seen! There was also arguing amongst the staff next to our table.
