The best restaurant in the area for my money. The food is cooked and presented superbly and the choice is excellent. The wine cellar is very good indeed. If you haven't been you are missing out on a real treat.

I love this place have not been for over a year, so decided to try it, was a little disappointed that it hasn't been decorated its needs a little tidy up, and new chairs in the waiting area, but the menu was superb, my husband has sausage pasta bake, , sirloin steak and bread n butter pudding, which was all divine and a barging at 13.95, i had a risotto of asparagus, scallops and smoked haddock, it was AMAZING large portion and just fab, i had beef and chicken in a garlic sauce, the chicken was slightly over cooked, but the roast pots, carrots, green beans, and cauliflower cheese were gorgeous, is home cooked food at its best, cant wait to go back xx

We visit Le bistro as often as possible;en masse, in small groups,bringing friends along and even taking the place over entirely a couple of times a year.The food is always excellent, interesting menus,freshly prepared,enjoyable wines,friendly atmosphere,great value.The Best.

This restaurant is incredible for food, price an service. It is a credit to the owners. If anyone can honestly say they didn't enjoy their meal, they must well be the first as everyone I have spoken to return again and again and never have a bad word to say about it. Get a table booked and enjoy quality!

Delicious food. great prices. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the risotto starter delicious. Best of all was the veg. Cauli and broccoli cheese, garlic cabbage, buttered carrots and spiced parsnips. also massive choice of desserts on the table d'hote. Three courses for £13.25! Only down side is the very small bar/reception area with incredibly uncomfortable seating! Will visit again soon.

My partner and I celebrated a special occasion at Le Bistro, the food, service and ambience were excellent and it was very reasonably priced. We will be celebrating lots more there!
