This used to be a great takeaway the people who owned it & the staff were lovely. unfortunately it’s now been bought by a different type of people, they are very aggressive towards customers. Such a shame that a great takeaway has been sold. Service is poor, food is substandard, you really don’t want to go in or order online - the verbal abuse is horrible.

Had fish and chips from lino's fish bar in Pelaw last night. Best I've ever had and the biggest fish I ever saw. Recommend them to everyone.

I have been going to Lino's for the last 20 years and just find that it keeps on getting better and better as times goes by, Pat and Lino always give you a warm and friendly welcome and the food is always outstanding. here's hoping for another 20 years from one of the best chip shops in the north east!
