Terrible place - rude staff, microwaved and bland food. Dont know what has happened to this pub since we last visited, but we certainly wont be returning - such a shame, it used to be lovely

Best Place to eat in Topsham by a long way, fresh local grub at a good price and plenty of it. Recommended to any body

I have lived in Exeter for almost 30 years and love going to this place to eat. After introducing my new partner to The Lord Nelson in Topsham in 2005, when we visit Exeter now (we live in the Midlands) it is always the first place we go for a lovely home cooked meal, excellent quality, good atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming. Try the potato gratin my partner's favourite! The sweets are mine, try the malteser or After Eight sundae - divine!
