About Lou-Shang Cantonese Restaurant

Lou-Shang Cantonese Restaurant is situated in the heart of St Annes above Tesco in the square. There has been a Chinese restaurant on this spot for more than 20 years but a recent refurb has brought this venue bang up to date. Formerly Mr Chow's, it remains under the same ownership. The spacious restaurant comfortably seats 100 and is open every evening except Mondays. Unusually for a Chinese, Lou-Shang is well known for its home-cooked British puddings. Takeaway is available at a 10% discount to the main menu prices.

Best Chinese in the Fylde coast arguably. great food and service. husband and wife team front of house and kitchen. Had the seabass last night and sweet and sour prawns.

This place has to be the most comfortable restaurant in Lytham St Annes. You can sink into the comfy chairs, enjoy a leisurely Chinese meal with absolutely no rush, and look out over St Annes square. Lots of space and a soothing vibe. They don’t make them like this any more!

Really friendly staff, yummy food and lots of space between the tables so you don't feel at all cramped. Can't say I regularly eat Chinese food but when I do, it's invariably here at Lou Shang.. .

We occasionally treat ourselves to a meal out and visited this restaurant a couple of weeks ago, we were so impressed, that we decided to come again a week later. The staff are very welcoming and pleasant and the decor of the restaurant is stylish and comfortable. We didn't have to wait long for anything and staff were always on hand in case we did need any extra service. The food came in big portions and was delicious, everything was cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend Lou Shang to anyone, as we will be dining there again in the very near future.

Have been coming to this restaurant for 15 years. I was most anxious when i realised it had changed from Mister Chows to Lou-Shang, but after enquiring and realising it was the same ownership i was very happy. I always opt for the big banquet which is AMAZING! The satay skewers are to die for, as is the crispy duck and the fillet steak Cantonese. I can honestly say i have NEVER had a bad meal or bad service here. Staff/owners are very helpful, friendly and efficient. One of my favourite restaurants and always a treat to visit.

Great place with Lovely owners who are real characters. Always busy and good for larger groups.

Ordered a takeaway and it must be noted the price remains the same as dining in. I would NOT recommend taking away...£9.50 for a chicken chow mein? Is this London St.Annes? Is the chicken corn fed? I think not! Portion sizes are not in the same league as the prices, think Chinese tapas with extra grease, you will consider dessert. However, after all said and done I would eat in on a special occasion. Nicer food than Chu's and nicer decor than 88.
