Standard. Used to be amazing, great bar-tenders, great atmosphere, great food. Now it's just same old, same old. Last year they had the best and most accommodating boys and girls in Leeds. It was a pleasure to go, now it's boring and mundane. I hate to be negative but this lot have destroyed a winning formula. Bring back Mike (long hair) Rachel (tall) Claire (fun) and everyone we liked! HBOS is having a hard time, but we would bring it back for the Lounge. We don't want to go elsewhere but the service and food good times have disappeared! So upset, we loved you guys. Where has all the energy gone? And who is that angry man in the waistcoat? Still recommend Lounge, but we need some help! Great relationship gone sour!

Very poor. Slow service (didn't manage to get food in time on my lunch hour), crappy attitude from staff when complaining about this, no discernable leadership/management and simply not good enough to charge what it does for food and drink.
Saw kitchen staff smoking indoors downstairs and bar staff checking mobile phones when customers were waiting.
I don't remember it being this bad when I was last there. What's happened?

Booked as a treat before going to the theatre, however big let down. We (3 of us) ordered a starter & main course, but the main course turned up first. We explained we had ordered starters & the mains were removed. Our waitress then explained saying she'd 'forgot' too put them through the till (no sorry)! After another 10 mins the starters came, but the 'king' prawns were burnt & small at a cost of £1.50 each - however we dare not complain. Main courses were 'ok' however had been kept warm which we knowe because the side salad on each plate was 'cooked'. If we had known we'd get the same main meals we would have cancelled the starters...
Disappointing & annoying - won't recommend or return!!

Quite possibly the best front-of-house team in Leeds. Friendly, helpful (particularly when suggesting cocktails) and entertaining, I cannot commend them enough.
The terrace makes for the best al fresco experience in the city centre and the staff offering sun cream on hotter days is a great idea.
Not the cheapest place, but then if I wanted cheap beer and cheap company, I'd go to Wetherspoons.
Seems to be one of those places that you stumble upon initially, but return to again and again.
Try a Sunday Roast on the terrace for a hangover cure.
Lounge
Typical trendy eatery. More style than substance but not bad if you're in the city centre.
