Food was totally delicious! Great vegan options. Got the vegan breakfast and the Buddha bowl. Amazing flavours! Only downside was that the food didn’t come out at the same time which was totally disappointing. You go out for lunch with someone, you want to enjoy eating together at the same time. Also is on the expensive side and portions could be bigger. Gorgeous decor!

I was excited to go here after reading about it, and missing this kinda place in New Zealand. Was really disappointed with the food - smashed avocado on sliced normal white bread - not sourdough, chickpea pancakes drowning in a tomato liquid and the veggie breakfast where the falafel was overcooked, the fried egg was not cooked properly (egg white still runny). Loved the decor - but noticed people had also left most of their breakfasts. Could be a fantastic place to eat if attention to detail was sorted. :)

Very very disappointed with love thy neighbour......turned up to the baby shower afternoon tea cancelled as the manager had emailed myself at 10.30 on the day of the booking to see if we still wanted it. I had already set off from Leeds to Liverpool at this point so did not check my emails. I had two emails from Jade saying the booking had been confirmed and as there was only 6 of us no need for a deposit. No mention id need to re confirm.
The staff were rude and did not try to help the situation at all. Told the guests to sit any where and that we’d have to wait a hour for the cakes to defrost. Eventually spoke to the manager who did try his best to try rectify the situation but to little to late.
We came to love thy neighbour on recommendation, unfortunately myself and the other 5 guests won’t be passing on the same.
Bread was stale and the scones cold, all thrown together. Was supposed to be a special occasion which was ruined.

Food was lovely and tasty! I had the spicy Buddha bowl (vegan) boo had a full English and then we shared the blueberry and banana pancakes. I enjoyed our cosy little afternoon. The atmosphere was great and not too over crowded. Staff seemed friendly enough and the service was fairly quick. I would go back for some coffee and cake but I think the food is a little overpriced for the amount you get... nevertheless, I was overall satisfied.

Nice food and atmosphere but some of the workers were rather dismissive and ‘laid back’

Overall we were dissappointed. We were a table of four in two groups of two.
Greeting was nice and the atmosphere was great as it was match day.
We ordered separately but in very quick succession, the first 2 meals came (missing a side) and we had to wait 25 minutes for the next 2 meals. In the meantime 2 other tables received their meals. In addion, the last of the 4 meals was missing two items and the side from the first order came 30 mins after its accompanying main.
Service was incredibly average considering we had to wait so long, very little apology and obviously unable to offer any discounts as you pay up front.
Won't be visiting again unfortunately.

We were excited about checking out this restaurant, but ended up disappointed. The gentleman host was very rude and told us we could not have a table even though we reserved it. The smoothie machine wasn’t working so the smoothies bowls which we came for weren’t there. The eggs were cold and my daughters pancakes came out after we had all finished. Disappointing experience.
