I worked at the Lowther Arms for sometime and it is one of the best pubs to eat in Penrith. The food is just great and there is a wide selection so everyone can be happy! I love the giant Yorkshire pudding, yum yum! It also has a great feel to it, it is like how pubs used to be!

great meals and very good bar staff made to feel very welcome great roaring log fire during the cold spell which just heats you up as you enter the food menu is quite varied my favourite was the specials board
