Was in Liverpool for a couple of days and visited Lunya 2 days on the bounce. Once for a couple of glasses of Rioja at the bar and again for their 3 course course tapas lunch. Highly recommended.

You’ve got to try the churros here- to die for!

Went to the opening of the new Lunya and it looks great. They have only moved a couple of doors down onto Hanover Street but it’s a fabulous space incorporating the deli, restaurant and kitchen all on one floor. Definitely the place to go for your Catalan/Spanish food fix!

Had a wonderful tapas lunch at Lunya yesterday. Catalan hot pot, croquettas, hake and meatballs were all gorgeous. Great value as well at £3 a pop. Love the very well stocked deli they have with an amazing selection of cheeses.

chose the £9.99 meal deal that was advertised on chalkboard outside, 3 tapas, bread and glass of wine. when it came to pay they charged me over £25, said the meal deal was only Mon-Thurs but it didn't say that on the board outside !!!

Sorry I went here one lunch time a saturday. They ere slow and charged us for a meal we hadn't had . we never got an itemised bil till I had to sk for one . The portions were small and unimpressive. Believe me I know Catalan food I lived there for 3 years and this wasn't that good. Sorry . Also thought the prices were high for the small portions you got.Not good.

We went to Lunya for Coffee and Cake one afternoon. Excellent Cafe con leche and the Tarte de Santiago was heavenly, but the real draw was the chocolate truffle stuffed fig!! Divine! I would recommend this friendly restaurant as the atmosphere was calm and staff attentive and food so heavenly we went back the next week!

went on Saturday and had a beautiful meal. Food just perfect, service very friendly and professional, great with my little boy. The owner stopped to talk to us to explain about some of the dishes. Have been recommending this to all my friends. Go there, you won't be disappointed.

Have eaten at Lunya 3 or 4 times and have never been disappointed. Something for everyone from 3 year old to adult, lovely service, slowly working our way through the menu. We'll be back soon

I have been to Lunya twice now and have been extremely disappointed both times. The first time I went for breakfast and had to send the food back as it was completely cold and the egg white was still runny and uncooked. I thought I would give it another chance as it always seems busy so went for lunch last week and had to send more food back. I ordered the crispy chicken strips off the tapas menu and when I cut into it, the chicken was completely raw inside! I sent it back and was told we wouldnt get charged for it yet when we received the bill, we were charged for it. I will not be going here again for these reasons plus the food is completely overpriced especially for the size of the portions.
