i have 2 disagree with the other comments i went there monday as I've just got back from torquay and i myself tried this place i ordered a chicken tikka missala and i asked 4 it to be done sweet and creamy it was creamy ok but not sweet 1 bit compared to the balti gardens in abby road. i went here on the monday night as the balti gardens was closed that nite. ok they changed it but they should have done it right when i stated that when i ordered my meal. its not the best 1 in torquay as ive read on various sites here that will be the balti garden because they do the food right 1st time u order it which is how it should be done.

the best indian restaurant in torquay
the staff cannot do enough for you!
the food comes quickly and correctly!
the food is gorgeous and not too oily!
the restaurants location is perfect if you're going to/from town!
the ambience is lovely - with the new fish tank in place, i haven't seen another indian like it!
10/10 everytime i've been...

The Best Indian in Torquay if not the whole of Devon. We had a mix of different dishes and all were fantastic I had the Lamb Pasander which was outstanding probably the best I have ever had. I cant think of a better restaurant. The service was great even though it was completely full, there was loads of people waiting for a table at the bar and I can understand why. Great food great service cant recommend it enough.

Great food and would of been perfect if it hadnt of taken 45 minutes to be seated as the waiter forgot about us and then decided to ignore us. Had to wait ages for someone to take our order, in the end gave up with the pudding, Not the friendliest of places, actually they are rather rude, the Waiter obviously ignored us as the manager asked us who welcomed us in and it was him who forgot us! wont go back but would of if this hadnt happened because its very nice food
