Read the reviews and thought fab ! Oh dear!In reality, waiters were rushed off their feet and so didn't have the time to make you feel welcome etc Food arrived very quickly and was of a poor quality, not freshly prepared and not very warm. Expensive, unimpressed, and would not recommend it.

After having lunch there last week which was great, i went back last night for the evening meal. It was lovely staff were friendly and able to recommend a meal for my partner to eat. Great atmosphere and food was delicious. My bill came to £58 which included two starters, two main courses, a bottle of house wine which were £11.50 each and a couple of shorts at the end of the evening.

Had a meal last night for our anniversary. Can't praise food highly enough. As good as anything you could get in Italy. Excellent service. A wonderful experience. Visit this restaurant, you won't be sorry.

The worst restaurant I have ever eaten in. Just because you are Italian does not mean you can cook Italian Food. The AntiPasta meats were dried and crisp and served on top of 2 baked bean cans. The Risotto looked like a plate of baby's sick. There was no texture to the Risotto it was a congealed mess. Don't waste your money, your better off going to Pizza Express! Its cheaper and at least you know what your getting!!

Best italian restaurant in Swansea. The atmosphere is just amazing and the food like you only find in Italy.Simply amazing.Antipasti from their meat counter freshly sliced are to die for .

They obviously didn't want me there. I had a beer on the table in 4 mins, dinner in under 10! The bread that came to the table consisted of two very soggy pieces in a basket with a greasy crumpled serviette.
The bill was on the table in 14 mins, I left a minute later!
My previous meal was in a pub in Leicester, Confit of Duck, black pudding, roast potatoes and an apple sauce. A million times better, at half the price!
Guess they judge customers by appearence, and serve accordingly. Trouble is, I'm used to good restaurants, but if going to a rugby match, I dress for it and travel light
If in Leicester, try The Pub, The Bootroom, or Casa Romana. If in Swansea avoid Mamma Mia!

What a great find, authentic italian food and reasonably priced, will definitely return there... :-)

What a delight a restaurant that really cares about food and the authenticity of its ingredients.I've visited Jamie Olivers restaurant in Bath and Mamma Mia easily compares in quality and value. Why give yor money to a national chain eating place in Wind st when just around the corner there's a real gem!I will return.
