This place has not changed its decor since the 60's it's like going back in time. The service is good. The food is very average or below based on what you order. This place seems to add 3 times more gravy sause than the meat, also the spices used make food taste bland, Indian food needs to taste sharp and spicy not sweet full of blended onions!

The one and only Master Chef, best in Liverpool, not been for a while, the Wife has a broken foot, so yes the staff are so friendly.

Takeaway - Cooking oil that the pops were fried in needed changing. Onion bhaji and seekh kebab undercooked and too spicy. There was a hair in the raita. Currys very bland and absolutely swimming in oil. Pilau rice grey and tasteless. Naan straight out of the packet. Disgusting - never again.

MASTERCHEF Restaurant is the Best in Liverpool.I really love the food, when food gets out on the table its nice and sizzling hot, whilst eating i love it when i can taste the food texture in my mouth. staff are easy to get on with and polite. service is good. At the end of the meal you even get to try Vimto lollypop.dessert ice creams are yummy

me and my friend went for a meal 23/12/2009 and was very disappointed since we have used this restaurant many times before. the was only 3 small pieces of lamb in the curry and the rest was onions and green peppers. i had a vindaloo which was just chilli powder with no sauce or flavour. we complained at the time but they were not interested.

My favourite Indian restaurant in Liverpool, food's really nice and the price is very reasonable. Staff are very nice too.

We thought we would give this place a try - as the usual (U.N.I.) was shut.
Firstly there was a hair in one of our starters and the salad was old and brown. The main courses were horrible, the rice had a funny smell to it the curry was bland. The only spicy thing we had was the pickle chutney.
Would not recommend this place.

so nice is the masterchefs curry that we regularly do a 12 mile round trip to get takeaways and then speed home with all the lovely smells in the car! gets your taste buds fired up! try the garlic cheese nan bread. you'll love it when you mop up the curry sauce...mmmmmmmm get their now and taste what a real curry tastes like!
