Being from Blackpool you forget what a beautiful and historic building the Winter Gardens is. Once you walk through the doors into the atrium area with a vaulted glass roof it hits you. I had lunch at the café in there called Mazzei. Again housed in a great art deco room. Simple and tasty food. A fine jacket and cake with a cup of tea. There was even someone on the piano!
