Gordon Jones started his culinary journey growing up in Scotland cooking with his Mum, who instilled a devotion to fresh home-grown ingredients. Aged 14 he began working in an Indian restaurant, which opened his eyes to flavours from across the world, particularly Asia. And since then he has trained with Michelin-starred chefs such as Martin Wishart and Martin Blunos, latterly honing his skills as the Head Chef at The Royal Crescent Hotel in Bath before opening his eponymous restaurant here in the city. Working from an open kitchen, Gordon prepares his multi-course Surprise Tasting Menu for lunch and dinner Wednesday to Saturday. Experience contrasting flavours, textures and temperatures with English, Indian and Asian influences and an optional paired wine flight.
