Our family attended a wedding close to The Mercat and we were lucky enough to book B&B for our stay in Cumnock. It was a pleasure to be guests at The Mercat as the standard of the rooms, hospitality and courtesy shown to us was perfect. The staff were more than helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed, Mercat had easier access than other local hotels for the benefit of our elderly relative. The breakfast covered every one's choices and could not be faulted - we called it the " Lumberjack Special " Our thanks to all at Mercat making our stay as special as the wedding we attended.
